I am passionate about helping people connect with their most authentic self, to become what the Buddhists call 'awake.'
While raising my three daughters and working in sales and marketing, I realized that what I loved about both my work and being a mom, was creating supportive connections. Already in a graduate program, I switched paths and completed a degree in marriage and family therapy.
My belief in holistic healing led me to complete a second master's degree studying neuroscience and psychotherapy. I view counseling as a transformative process to becoming more content, more connected and more compassionate.
Theresa has proven invaluable to me as a therapist's therapist. She is highly in tune to the specialized set of problems unique to mental health practitioners, including signs of possible burn out. An unexpected plus has been her education and experience in business and marketing. She has assisted me in marketing my practice to make me 'happier' and more successful in my work as proven in better client outcomes and even income!

I know Theresa professionally and from academia. She is highly intelligent, unusually creative, intuitive, open minded and compassionate. Theresa tunes in quickly to recognize the important issues and is able to guide others with Socratic questioning.
